Immigration, Today's News

Here is the plan for today:

  1. Discuss our work with Without Sanctuary from yesterday.
  2. Introduce issues of immigration by watching this video featuring American Land by Bruce Springsteen: American Land
  3. Watch and take notes: Crash Course on Growth, Cities and Immigration
  4. Shift to consider today's news, first by looking at this diagram: News Sources
  5. Then, we'll finish by getting updates on some current news stories, adding information that we discover to this chart by using "mainstream news sources".
  6. HW for Tuesday, January 3: Read and annotate  Choices Packet on Spanish American War part then Complete Study Guide
